Hi, we will be travelling to New Zealand end of the year and doing some camping trips. We are new and totally dummy in camping and camping cooking. Do you think the Wild L7 stove is good for the NZ trip? Also I saw your picture using stainless steel plates to cook. I see this good alternatives than buying the expensive Trangia cooker set. We have invested so much in our camping gears from tent to clothings. Kindly advise and share your experiences.

i've been an alcohol stove convert now and have dumped my campingaz for years! i've developed a system where the alcohol burns out while the rice is cook, so that i don't have to worry about if my rice will burn while in the middle of my shower etc. the alcohol stove is completely DIY using two soda cans and weight only 2 ounces. what i need to carry is only a small bottle of alcohol(350ml) that will last me for about 5 to 6 burning of 30 minutes each. for even more compact storage space, i can have my stove, alcohol, cup, matches etc all fit into my 12cm billy pot. that's quite neat. hope i can show and share with you one day~

That is a very cute cook stove and the gas cylinder or container is very handy. It really fits for camping trip. This makes camping a lot easier with this very potable camping equipment. I love it. Thank you for showing it to me.
