Yes, I think you are right. My brief 'encounter' with Ngang and his mates really demonstrated to me how humble yet able the Penan people are. It is a shame that their land is being taken from them. When I was with the Penan i got to test one out.... very nice! Just a little correction. A Penan blade is not made with the intention to behead. The Penan are probably the most peaceful of all the Dayak tribes and have no warrior culture. They have only had to fight recently and thats against the Sawarak government and the timber companies...
