Happened upon your website while looking for Vietnam era jungle boots. Had a pair I wore out trecking through the jungles of West Malaysia and East Malaysia (both Sabah and Sarawak). Lived in Singapore for over 30 years and as a photographer and writer have been up most of the rivers in Malaysia doing stories on lost cities (Endau), lost gold mines (Rejang in Sarawak) and elephant round-ups in Taman Negara. Currently semi-retired and living in Sri Lanka with our daughter. I'm an American, but my wife's hometown incidentally, is Ipoh. Let me know if you get this and keep in touch as I get to Malaysia at least once a year and would indeed like to compare notes on fishing and jungle trekking.
